Can you sap beasts
Sap might what? Comment by FLuke22 Kinda feel like Blizzard forgot to or didn't bother updating these guys with Cata. Doesn't make much sense to have lvl mobs in the same area as mobs. Especially considering Stonetalon is a lvl zone now View in 3D Links.

If the Sapped target is far away enough from your combat target, you can often re-stealth after finishing with the combat target. This also works sometimes when picking herbs, mining ore, skinning mobs, and looting chests and bodies. The mechanics are still ambiguous, so I can't guarantee that mere distance or facing does the trick. Experiment with it and see what works best for you : Edit: I've found another use. When a mob is Sapped, you can change its facing with Distract.
You won't see it physically turn, but its cone of awareness will shift to wherever Distract has landed. This can really help when you don't want the sapped target to be "aware" of your combat target. Although again, sometimes the mechanics are tricky, so I can't guarantee that it will work all the time. Who uses a 30 foot weapon?! Comment by cheesepizza Would the demon be sapped for 1 min since it does not count as a pc? Comment by So only alliance can train this?
Or do we have to all buy orb's of deception and hope that the trainer in SW doesn't notice? Comment by It seems odd to give an ability that you get at level 10, a completely new level of usefulness 61 levels later. Sapping beasts, demons, and dragonkin is useful far earlier than level Comment by cerin what i have been wondering is, If you were to sap a city guard, would it give off the alert that the town is under attack?
Comment by Zmic "Rogue keep sappin mah healer! Comment by Be careful! Sap after the warrior is coming out from the Arena's Gate! Comment by ok can some1 tell me wtf sap is? Comment by Only 3 of those 4 things are playable.. Perhaps the fourth is a small glimmer of hope of what is to come?
Most likely not, but a player can dream I mean, just think about it. A class that can revert to its original form, which would be a Dragonkin in this case. I don't know about anyone else, but I definitely would be majorly pumped about a Dragonkin class.
Just wishful thinking Comment by Ladadadada I was wondering if anyone else can shed any light on this scenario: there are two stationary mobs facing each other such as the pirates on the docks in Tanaris ; you sap one and ambush the other. At the end of the fight, sometimes you can re-stealth and ambush the sapped target but sometimes the sapped target has you in combat and the best you can do is to walk around behind him and backstab.
I haven't yet figured out what causes a sapped target to sometimes see me and sometimes not. The targets are nearly always facing each other so it's unlikely to be the direction the sapped target is facing and I have done it at all sorts of different ranges and seen it work both ways.
I have even finished the first fight and run right through the other mob before stealthing again. You can tell when it happens because when you ambush the non-sapped target you will hear two yells of surprise as both mobs see you. If you only hear one, it means you will be able to re-stealth after the fight with the first one and ambush the second.
If anyone knows what is going on here I'd love to know about it. Comment by how do i get improved sap so i restealth after using it? Comment by how di i get improved sap so i can restealth right after. Comment by Lands So it doesn't work against hunters? Comment by faliarin Apparently with 4. I use this as a preparation for launching my attack. I move within 10 Yards, Sap the PvE mob and move around to the back and begin my assault.
This is now the first ability that helps you get into position an attack. Level 20 druids cannot be counterspelled Therefore, the counterspell spell cannot be cast in response to a level 20 druid casting spells, and the druid is effectively immune to being counterspelled1. Cantrips are spells. However, several classes gain bonuses to Counterspell spellcasting ability checks. What CC does not put you in combat? Does SAP put you in combat?
