Can i solo raids in wow

With the latest expansion, Legion, you can only solo raids up to the Warlords of Draenor expansion at level You can kill a boss as many times per week as you like, but only loot once per difficulty: once in LFR, once in Normal, and once in Heroic. But the queue system makes it more difficult.

She resets every 5 days so Theoretically you can kill here twice a week every other week as long as you make sure to kill her the day before reset and then the day of reset. SoO onwards you can do normal, heroic and mythic, as blizzard used SoO as the testing grounds of the WoD raid difficulty system. ICC though Cata raids if you did a raid on 10 man it would have a different lock out then 25 man but yes the heroic and norrmal for these raids within the size setting were the same.

You can clear 10 normal up to LK and swap to 25 heroic which requires a 25 normal kill. Therefore you cannot use a raid lockout from another character to skip to Lich King for the Invincible reins.

Strict instance-based lockout raids do not allow to switch between 10 and 25 player size. Yes, they share lockouts. Now, like any raid from vanilla or BC, you can only kill each raid boss in a raid once per lockout, regardless of size.

If you want to kill a boss more than once a week, you have to do it the old fashion way, do it on an alt. Any raid you do has a weekly lockout, meaning it can only be done once a week. If you start ICC 10m Normal and kill the first boss, you are locked to the Raid on Normal for the entire week, you can change it to 25m Normal but it will still be normal. Legion is level 45 legacy content as its two xpacs old now and we out level it by 15 levels cutoff for activating legacy buff is anything 11 levels or more , and we SHOULD have the legacy buff active, but Blizzard decided to give transmog farmers the middle finger on this one for some reason.

The lack of this legacy buff makes it extremely difficult to complete some of the content solo. Of course this varies depending on the person, you may be able to brute force an encounter that someone else may not. I love playing alone, being able to log in and do whatever you want to, no obligations to anyone. WoW is, definitely, a great game. Although it may sound like the odds are stacked against it, World of Warcraft is poised to have a very big spike in popularity as the end of the year arrives.

The nearly two decade old Blizzard MMO has a dedicated fanbase at any given time, but there is always a big spike in subscribers when a new expansion drops. Destiny 2. Yeah, this is what confuses me. Now, I cant do it alone, and I can't manage it with 2 friends. Translation: We want to keep Shadowlands engagement numbers up to show to our investors, so we're not going to make it easy for you to solo Legion content so you don't spend time doing that instead of Shadowlands content.

WoD content was super easy early in BFA, barring a few encounters which were originally designed with a group in mind, but which could still be done with a little bit of skill, and those got adjusted without telling players they should be able to do them "by the end of BFA", like it was some sort of privilege. Like Vynistra says above, the damage buff is supposed to kick in once you're 11 levels higher than the content.

I get that the level squish may have buggered implementing that properly, and I remember that some tweaking needed to be done last time to be able to solo WoD stuff in BFA, but at least they were somewhat apologetic about the fact that there were issues, and it was the same for soloing Mists stuff in Legion. Now they are saying "just wait almost 2 years and the problem will solve itself", which is garbage.

There hasn't even been an attempt. Once squish happened if you jump off tower in nighthold to die to change difficulties you get disconnected as soon as you hit the ground.
